Turnstile has definitely had the banner year with their major label debut Time & Space being celebrated by all who’ve heard it. Like all punk bands, they’re still touring and will continue into the middle of next year. They just dropped the video for “Disco/Time+Space,” and it gives anyone who’s never caught the band in person, just an idea of what they’re in for.

The placing together of the two separate tracks makes for a trippy collision. Where “Disco” is a forty six second instrumental that sounds like it came from an island somewhere, “Time+Space” is pure hardcore energy. While stars out in space play over the instrumental before images of kids at a show come into focus, the energy of kids jumping off the stage at Turnstile shows get “Time+Space” going. The imagery of it all is youth and energy, and encapsulates all that the band stands for in many ways.
