The Flaming Lips Drop Holiday Video

The Flaming Lips aren’t ever going to do what you’d expect. So, it should be no surprise that they’ve decided to mark the holiday season with a cover of “Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy” alongside a video that feels like you took the red pill, and get to see how far the rabbit hole goes.

Alongside the video, the band is embarking on several dates in where they will perform their blend of crazed tunes and showcase their wacky stage set up. The last time they toured they had one of the most engaging sets we’d seen from them in years, complete with Coyne going into the audience. This will include a date in Denver with the Colorado Symphony, to perform their splendid release The Soft Bulletin in its entirety. While these shows are limited, tickets for the Denver date went on sale today at 10 a.m.

He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
