Kevin Devine Teams Up with Cavetown on Split Release

If Kevin Devine were just the nicest touring performer you’d ever met, then that would be one thing. But seeing that he can back up that kindness with solid performances and music that you swoon over for days, in many ways he’s the ultimate package in terms of a touring act. Since starting his own label and taking control of his career path, he’s been releasing splits with artists of all types under the name Devinyl Splits. For the eleventh in the series, he’s teamed up with England’s Cavetown and the track from Cavetown is tough to beat.

The track from Cavetown, a reworked version of his fans’ favorite, “Devil Town” is a reminder from the youthful singer songwriter that he’s a definite force in modern music. With upbeat pacing, the song just sticks with you and is pretty difficult to shake.

To hear the new Kevin Devine track “Only Yourself,” you have to purchase the split vinyl or wait for it to drop February 01.

He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
