Toro Y Moi Brings Outer Peace & More to Life

We made it out to catch Toro Y Moi in person, and from beginning to end we were pretty blown away. The energetic show didn’t start off with lots of energy, though the chill atmosphere he created with the opening tracks was more than welcomed by the sold out crowd.

Sticking mainly to bangers and his new album Outer Peace, the third track “Freelance” started the energy and it really never let up from there. Toro Y Moi had no problem keeping everyone with him as he danced and bopped to the beats and sang with emotion and snap throughout the evening. With plenty of light arrangements to guide his path, the entire set was sprinkled with tracks that kept the audience moving while hearing a mix of new and old favorites.

Wet opened the evening and stunned with a mixture of chill wave and powerful vocals. Though they only played for thirty minutes, their performance was magical and the perfect opener for the evening.

You can stream Outer Peace on all streaming sites, you can pick it up in digital shops or directly from Carpark Records. You can also still catch Toro Y Moi on tour March 01 through March 03 at M3F Festival in Phoenix until June 01 at We Love Green 2019 in Paris. A complete listing of his tour dates can be found here
