Denver’s ITSOKTOCRY has definitely amassed a following since getting his start a couple of years ago. With tons of streams on YouTube and Spotify, the rapper has his own sound that’s as off beat as anything you’ve heard before. With backing synths and beats that are like if ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER and Burial crafted them, his new single “LIL LOCK PICK” is about as different as the trippy video for the track.

Donning antlers and lounging between two pillars with flames burning, the haze on top of the screen and the imagery is strange and dark. The music is in line with a more industrial based hip hop sound that the rapper has become known for. And even though the song isn’t a long one, it definitely stays with you containing a hard to miss beat.

You can stream “LIL LOCK PICK” on all streaming sites, you can watch the video above or on YouTube, or you can but the track on all online retail shops. You can also pick up hi upcoming album Poshboy directly from Cleopatra Records when it drops on April 5. ITSOKTOCRY doesn’t have any listed tour dates as of yet, though that should soon change.
