For a while we’ve had our eyes on Nashville’s *repeat repeat. There’s something so inviting about their mixture of indie pop, alterna rock and fuzz that hits on all your internal feels. Now, ahead of their upcoming album Glazed produced by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, they’ve dropped their new single “Hi, I’m Waiting” and it should get your head bopping from the moment it starts.
The song mixes indie fuzz rock and pop with ease. Taking a sound that’s almost like if Matthew Sweet started a fuzz rock band, it’s ultra-catchy and hard to get out of your head. The video is full of colors and imagery of neighbors being upset while the band plays with Carney on drums. The sound should prepare you for what the album will sound like while you fall for their hook filled sound.
You can stream “Hi, I’m Waiting” on all streaming sites, you can watch the video above or on YouTube, and you can purchase the track in all digital shops. You can also pre-order Glazed directly from Dangerbird Records before its release date of May 31. You can catch *repeat repeat at SXSW on March 15 at Barracuda or in Nashville, TN at 3rd & Linsley on June 02.
