The folktronica sounds of English musician Bibio have always been stunning. Whether its through straight folk or through ambient means, his music evokes the prettiest of tones and the most relaxed sides to what we’re attracted to. Ahead of his forthcoming release Ribbons due in April, his new single “Curls” should get to your core and shake some kindness loose in the process.

The simple tones alone here should pull you in. Bibio seems to always know what notes bring up the most emotion, and he’s doing so with ease here. Soft and gentle, the way the guitar dances along it’s almost like it crafts its own beat while his gentle vocals sway around the track and create a soothing sound you can’t help but love.

You can also pre-order Ribbons directly from Warp Records ahead of its April 12 release date. There’s no word of a Bibio tour yet, though dates should be made available sooner than later.
