“Hydrocodone” From Cuco is Your New Jam

Last year it felt like the rising popularity of Cuco kind of came out of nowhere, while the indie pop artist continuously sold out pretty much everywhere he performed. Now since signing to Interscope Records he’s dropped his first single “Hydrocodone,” and it’s definitely a track you should find yourself getting down to.

The SoCal artist definitely embodies much of his earlier sound, offering a chillwave vibe with better production and a head bopping hook. The relaxed opening has a bedroom pop feel, but it quickly becomes a more “smoke and chill” atmosphere that gives the track plenty of shimmer. Cuco has more of a bigger audience feel with this track, and shows that he’d definitely en route to something bigger, if that’s possible.

The track is available to stream on all streaming sites ahead of the large scale tour the young artist is embarking on. You can catch Cuco on tour tonight in Lima, Peru at Happy Ending Fest until July 27 in Los Angeles, CA at The Novo. A complete list of his upcoming appearances can be accessed here
