Angel Olsen Announces New Tour to Take Place Later This Year

We’ve been fans of Angel Olsen since we first caught her play a tiny space. While we think Olsen may be one of the most enigmatic artists to come out in a good while, her work pace has always been impressive with touring schedules that could shy most away from the workload. With no new word of a new record out anytime soon, Olsen has just announced a run of dates to take place this Fall, and the amount of space she’s covering is staggering.

With dates that run from the end of October into the beginning of next year, we’d be shocked if we didn’t hear about new material sooner than later. When we caught Olsen solo last year, her energy and comedic banter stole our hearts, and with a full band in tow for these dates, she should stun anyone who catches her in person.

Angel Olsen’s music is available to stream on all streaming sites, it can be purchased digitally from all online music retailers or directly from Jagjaguwar Records. Angel Olsen will begin her tour October 30 in Asbury Park, NJ at Asbury Lanes and will end February 11 in London, UK at Eventim Apollo. A complete listing of her performances can be accessed here.

David Garrick has spent the last five years interviewing some of the most intriguing and engaging artists performing today. Everyone from Angel Olsen to Phoebe Bridgers, Wire to Yo La Tengo, Snail Mail to Soccer Mommy, Ghost to First Aid Kit, The Breeders to Protomartyr, and many more. He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
