Three seconds into the music of Los Angeles based pop rock quartet Hunny and you should realize that they’re definitely washed in a sea of nineties subculture. The band’s new single “Saturday Night” features some help from Bleached ahead of their full length Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes., out in July.

The guitar that opens things has plenty of pedal drenched tone to make you think the song is taking a shoegaze direction, however a couple of bars later should get you to realize that this is straight pop rock. In fact, it’s not until Bleached comes in on the song does it steer from it’s pure pop direction, though not too far to distract the catchy stride of the song.

“Saturday Night” can be streamed on all streaming sites, it can be purchased in all online music stores and Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. can be pre-ordered directly from Epitaph Records ahead of its July 19 release. Hunny will be on tour tonight in Tampa, FL at The Orpheum until June 15 in Detroit, MI at The Majestic Theatre.
