Ramonda Hammer Releases New Single & Drops West Coast Dates

Los Angeles is full of tons of artists, no matter who you ask. In such a crowded market, sticking out can be difficult for some of said acts, unless you have a team behind you or you’re really good. Luckily for Ramonda Hammer, they’re just a really good band. Before their West Coast tour begins and ahead of their new album I Never Wanted Company releases in early June, they’ve just released a new single titled “Who’s the Narcissist?” and you need to get it into your ears.

Getting started with snarling guitar tones, the band doesn’t hesitate in reminding you of the nineties alt rock scene without lifting from anyone. The loud emphasis of the vocals mean they’re in your face without being overbearing and the snappy pacing of the song means that you’ll more than likely bang your head along as the intensity ticks up as it plays. Ramonda Hammer isn’t reinventing the wheel here, but they’re also not resting on their laurels in a time where guitar based music is overproduced in a way that overshadows the human elements of it. Ramonda Hammer just plays proving that great music doesn’t need lots of production.

“Who’s the Narcissist?” can be steamed on all streaming sites, it can be purchased as a stand alone single from all digital music stores and I Never Wanted Company can be pre-ordered physically directly from New Professor Music ahead of its June 14 release. Ramonda Hammer will be on tour starting June 14 at The Echo in Los Angeles until June 29 at Amnesia in San Francisco, CA. A complete list of their performances can be found here

He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.

Ramonda Hammer s new song and album seem to be going deeper and deeper into Davis’ search for identity and understanding and we could not be more excited or supportive of this musical and life journey.
