Sacred Paws Drop Infectious New Track Before New Album Release

Glasgow duo Sacred Paws have no trouble releasing catchy songs with pop pieces in place. On their new single “Almost It” they add hints of post-punk to perk your ears for their new album Run Around The Sun out this Friday, and get you just as excited for their upcoming run of tour dates as well.

With the post-punk nuances that fall all over the track, backing vocals and even horns at times make the song that much more hook filled. While the song is essentially pop, it’s definitely a song that you’ll have on your mind with its sunny stride for days after you hear it. The horns add a nice depth to the particularly upbeat pacing without steering it too close to the realm of ska.

“Almost It” is available to stream above or on YouTube, it can be purchased in all digital outlets and Run Around The Sun can be pre-ordered physically on multiple formats directly from Merge Records before its May 31 release. Sacred Paws will be on tour beginning June 05 at Rosyth Library in Dunfernlime, UK until July 28 at Beat Kitchen in Chicago, IL. A complete list of their tour dates can be found here
