It’s been three years since Motion City Soundtrack played a show, but with that said it looks like they’re ready to start performing again. Yesterday the band announced a whole run of tour dates that appear to keep them out for over a month.
Even when they announced the tenth anniversary of their album Even If It Kills Me, the band didn’t tour around it. Though it appears that whatever imposed end or time off that the band has taken, that’s since changed. It’s not the first time someone has quit as Bowie and Bob Mould both said the same at certain times, yet returned again as well. Though the band has been around over twenty years, they plan on sticking to albums like Panic Stations, Go, My Dinosaur Life, Even If It Kills Me, Commit This To Memory and I Am The Movie for the bulk of the tour dates.
The band’s entire catalog can be streamed wherever you stream music and Even If It Kills Me (10th Anniversary Edition) is available to purchase directly from Epitaph Records. Motion City Soundtrack will return to touring on New Year’s Eve in Chicago, IL at House of Blues until January 28 in Seattle, WA at Neptune Theatre. A complete listing of the dates can be accessed here while tickets for the tour go on sale at 10 am on June 21 here.
