Sometimes there are artists where we feel like even a little time can feel too long. That’s how it feels between every release from Elvis Depressedly, so fans will be pleased to hear that a new album Depressedelica is coming in October and the lead single “Jane, Don’t You Know Me?” is out and it’s wonderful.
The song is pretty snappy and has the natural hooks built in. Utilizing electronic beats and notes alongside heavily treated vocals, Depressedly takes your ears on a journey that skips through pop and indie with ease. The song is a bit more up than we were expecting, though that’s not a bad thing as the hip hop influence and the head bopping pace make the song immediate and give Depressedly a fresh sound.
The video can be viewed above or on YouTube, the song can be streamed wherever you stream music and Depressedelica can be pre-ordered physically directly from Run For Cover Records ahead of its October 04 release date. Currently there are no tour dates for Elvis Depressedly, but that should change soon.
