Earlier this year when FOALS announced they were releasing a two part album, it appears that they weren’t just blowing smoke. With the release of Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost-Part 2 coming in  mid-October, the band has just released the new single “Black Bull” and it shows a heavier side to their pop tone.

The song has a more darker edge, with heavier bass presence and thicker riffs. The stride is upbeat but also has nuance of pop while the vocals are more scream based. The song shows there’s an edge to the band that hasn’t gone away with success, while it’s the best foot forward in promoting the new release.

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost-Part 2 can be pre-ordered directly from Warner Records before its October 18 release. FOALS is on tour starting August 03 in Katowice, Poland at OFF Festival until August 30 in St. Petersburg, Russia at Morze. The band’s complete tour schedule can be accessed here.
