Now that U.K. singer songwriter Cavetown is on a major label, he’s been steadily releasing new music just as he did when he was running his own schedule. With more touring planned for the U.S. starting in October, he’s just released a new song and a new live video of it as well.
Shot live at Hoxton Hall, “Feb 14” has a lot of the similar themes that the twenty year old has employed in the past while still holding his tender folk sound intact. The acoustic noodling here that meets the soft touches of the guitar get met with sweet vocals about love and love lost in the most endearing way. Amplifying his already catchy folk sound, Cavetown sounds stronger here showing plenty of growth in the last year.
“Feb 14” can be streamed on all streaming sites, the video can be viewed above or on YouTube and the song can be purchased digitally wherever you download music via Sire Records. Cavetown will be on tour in North America beginning October 02 in Ithaca, NY at The Haunt until November 09 in New York, NY at Webster Hall. His complete tour schedule can be found here.
