The Shelters’ Drop Infectious New Song Ahead of New Album

Southern California’s The Shelters are getting closer ad closer to releasing their new album Jupiter Sidecar, and their new single and video “You’re Different” prove that the band hasn’t lost the shimmer from their Tom Petty produced debut album.

The hooks open the catchy song with plenty of pop infused weight while never getting too sugary. The song is structued around the trio’s sound of guitar and bass with snappy drums. While the vocals are their own thing, they don’t stand out here either as the focus is on the catchy song. The video definitely takes the idea of the nuclear family to a whole new place in a comical way.

The video can be viewed above or on YouTube, and the song can be streamed on all streaming sites while Jupiter Sidecar can be pre-ordered directly from Amazon via Warner Records. The Shelters will be on tour beginning September 01 in San Diego, CA at Humphreys Concerts By The Bay until September 11 in San Luis Obispo, CA at Slow Brew Rock. The band’s complete performance schedule can be found here
