It seems that when it comes to releasing music, no one does so with the excitement of it as British trio Kero Kero Bonito. After an EP, a full length and a successful run of live dates, the three piece has just released another new song “When the Fires Come,” and it should sparkle in your ears while you watch the stunning new video.
The video is full of dark imagery, almost like it’s taking place between a forest in an unknown land and a post-apocalyptic future where very little signs of life exist. The balance between nature and nothingness in the video creates a nice contrast. The song is upbeat but not the sparkled pop that the trio has become known for, and steers closer to a more focused direction signalling growth in how their music is represented.
The song can be purchased via Polyvinyl Records in all digital music stores, it can be streamed on all platforms and the video can be viewed above or on YouTube. Kero Kero Bonito is on tour starting September 13 in St Petersburg, Russia at The Place until December 07 in Singapore, Singapore at The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions. The band’s entire tour schedule can be accessed here.
