It’s been a year since Saintseneca released their lovely album Pillar of Na and ahead of a new run of tour dates they’re returning with a brand new song “In A Van.” The track is inspired by the late comedian Chris Farley’s skits. With a flowing style and an opened up sound, it has a refreshed tone that’s difficult to not fall for.
The track opens with a mix of instruments before a chopped vocal hops on and off the song. The use of stringed instruments with the vocals playing along a single drum adds a weight to the easy going track. The folk graces that fall all over the song keep it in your ears before dual vocals bring a heavier tone. The group vocals that follow the chorus open things up, while you’re more than likely going to hum along to the catchy pacing.
“In A Van” can be purchased in all online music retailers via Anti Records, it can be streamed in all streaming sites as well. Saintseneca is on tour beginning September 17 at Comet Ping Pong in Washington, DC until October 28 at Soda Bar in San Diego, CA. The band’s complete tour schedule is easily accessed here.
