Chris Farren Shares New Song That You Won’t Stop Playing

In the world of indie rock, you can’t do enough to stand out from the crowd of bands that pop up daily. However if you call your upcoming album Born Hot, or get your own billboard announcing said album, both of those are great starts in rising above the herd. That’s what Florida’s Chris Farren seems to be up to ahead of his upcoming album due in the middle of October, his new single “Surrender” is also a great way of standing out. Why? Because it’s catchy without being sugary in a way that you might just stream it on repeat for the following week.

With a pop fueled opening, the song is immediate and starts hanging with you as soon as it begins. Farren’s soft voice doesn’t hinder the track as he harmonizes in the kindest way possible as the up stride of the song never leaves your head. The song has a pure pop vibe, but it’s far from overbearing. Farren sounds positive and fun here, pulling from multiple spaces to create a banger that you can’t stop playing.

You can stream “Surrender” above or on YouTube, you can also stream it on all streaming sites and you can pre-order Born Hot in multiple creative bundles and formats directly from Polyvinyl Records ahead of its October 11 release. Chris Farren will be performing at The Foundry in Lakewood, OH tonight until he ends his tour on November 16 at Canton Hall in Dallas, TX. His complete show schedule can be located here
