Philadelphia’s The Menzingers are well set for their new album Hello Exile to be released in early October. Alongside what appears to be a pretty lengthy run of tour dates, their new single “Strangers Forever” and the video that accompanies it shows that the band is still moving their sound forward.
The video, featuring swimming bikini clad bodies before the band takes the plunge and performs underwater as well. The song has a snappy pace yet still steers from coming off like modern pop punk. The catchy structure adds to the band’s sound without taking anything away in the process. The way the vocals are mixed at the top of the track keeps the words in your head as soon as you hear them.
The video can be viewed above or on YouTube, the song can be streamed on all platforms and Hello Exile is available for pre-order directly from Epitaph Records on multiple formats in multiple bundles ahead of its October 04 release. The Menzingers are on tour beginning October 02 in Brooklyn, NY at Rough Trade Records until February 15 in London, UK at 02 Forum Kentish Town. The band’s complete tour schedule can be accessed here.
