UK four piece FOALS are definitely hitting it hard. With Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost getting broken into two parts, the second will be available in about a month. With their new single “Into The Surf” they prove that they can still dazzle us with their sound ahead of the new release.

The track has an almost cinematic sound in how it rolls out. With notes that sound like nature, a piano rolls in and adds the vocals in an easy going way. The sound here is more relaxed and comes off as more focused. The way the vocals slow dance with the notes has an intimacy not found on much of the band’s music. The touches of subtle sounds creates a thicker presence to the track, keeping t in your head.

FOALS is back on tour beginning October 13 in Paris, France at Arte Concert until March 05 in Tokyo, Japan at Studio Coast. Their tour schedule is available to access here.
