Los Angeles trio Behavior have been hard at work on the music that will make up their upcoming new album. While Spirits & Embellishments isn’t due until the middle of October, what they’ve released from it paints a picture. Now with their latest single “Organic,” the picture is becoming clear that they’re an act to look out for.
The song has a terse undercurrent with a top layer that’s easy going and at times soft. Playing out like dissipating air, the tension that lies beneath becomes clear in the simple yet heavy track. With quiet as the main factor, it’s hard not to dig deeper than what’s on the surface here. The video pieces three separate videos together, chopped and reconstituted to craft one image that stays with you.
The video can be viewed above or on YouTube, the song can be streamed on all streaming sites and Spirits & Embellishments is available for pre-order directly from Post Present Medium ahead of its October 18 release. Behavior will be on tour starting October 19 at Zebulon in Los Angeles, CA until October 29 at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA.
