Rhode Island noise duo Lightning Bolt have been on a tear lately. Since signing to Thrill Jockey, they’ve been reissuing albums left and right while releasing their latest Sonic Citadel. Now in keeping with that they’ve just announced a vinyl reissue of the self titled debut out in January.

Presented in a screen printed double LP featuring the original album plus bonus material recorded in the same era. Known as the yellow record, the album has been out of print for a long time and should delight fans who’ve been trying to get a copy for years.

The debut is available to preorder directly from Thrill Jockey ahead of its January 17 release date. Lightning Bolt is on tour December 04 at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA until December 07 at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, NY. their complete tour schedule is accessible here.
