
The Flaming Lips are definitely ramping up the machines to get word out on their upcoming first live album. This Friday when the band drops The Soft Bulletin Recorded At Red Rocks With The Colorado Symphony Orchestra, everyone who adores the band should have an idea of what to expect. Now the band has just released a new video for the song “What is the Light?” and it’s everything you’d expect from the purveyors of sound versus light.
Utilizing a four camera setup, the band like always is firing on all cylinders. Cloaked in multiple colors, the orchestra pairs perfectly with the iconic band. The copious amounts of colors and tones is dazzling to the senses as the band offers a whole new way to experience the song.

The Soft Bulletin Recorded At Red Rocks With The Colorado Symphony Orchestra is available for preorder directly from Warner Records on multiple formats ahead of its November 25 release. The Flaming Lips are on tour December 07 in Cholula, Mexico at Festival Catrina until July 18 at Galway International Arts Festival in Galway, Ireland.
