Sharon Van Etten & Norah Jones Perform on Late Show

This has been a pretty solid year for Sharon Van Etten. After the release of her latest album Remind Me Tomorrow and a successful run of tour dates, she’s seemed to have the world’s ear. Earlier this year we shared an Amazon exclusive between Van Etten and Norah Jones. Now the two have gotten together to perform Van Etten’s song “Seventeen” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The results are staggering.

With Van Etten on acoustic guitar and Jones on piano, the two weave together to create a sound that feels organic and in many ways meant to be. The two harmonize with graceful notes and the song has about a half step slower delivery. The energy between the two offers a tone that gives a glimpse into who they are as performers, while Van Etten proves she doesn’t mid sharing the stage.

The video can be viewed on YouTube or above. Remind Me Tomorrow is available physically directly from Jagjaguwar. It can also be streamed on all streaming sites or purchased in all digital outlets. Sharon Van Etten is on tour beginning January 18 at Sky Blue Sky Festival in Quintana Roo, Mexico until April 26 at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA. Her complete tour schedule can be accessed here
