Disq Announces Debut Album with Saddle Creek & Drops Epic New Single

For a minute now, the band Disq has been on our radar. Being a fan of indie rock means that you’re always on the look out for a band that could pop while staying true to the genre. Now it seems like Disq is ready to prove just that. With their debut album Collector just announced for release in March, their lead single “Daily Routine” is definitely hard to dislike.

The song checks all of the boxes for an indie rock band. The way the song has just enough hooks to draw you in. The almost Pavement meets Superchunk guise of how the song plays out. And the jangled guitar and change in rhythm signals that the band knows their genre well. The vocals are just as engaging as well. The video has plenty of comical moments between the band members having introductions to the high school dance band look of them performing. The tone of all here is enough to say that Disq is a band to keep an eye on.

The video for “Daily Routine” can be viewed on YouTube or above. The song can be streamed on all streaming sites as well. Collector is available to preorder directly from Saddle Creek Records ahead of its March 06 release. Disq is on tour beginning January 14 at The Lexington in London, UK until May 01 at the High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI. Their complete tour routing is available here
