For a long time now, we’ve all come to love and adore the music that comes from of Montreal. The Georgia based band has changed multiple times over the years, but their ability to craft and create catchy feel good songs is unparalleled in the indie world. Now with their new album UR FUN just a week from release, the band has shared a new song with “You’ve Had Me Everywhere” that’s a tender pop track worth checking out.
The song is a straight pop song, but it’s also a tender love song. With the typical pop graces that the band has always employed, Kevin Barnes’ words seem especially meant for one person. The loving nature of the lyrics coupled with catchy hooks holds your attention while backing vocals and little bops move the song along and force you to bounce along.
“You’ve Had Me Everywhere” is available to stream on all streaming sites. UR FUN is available for preorder in multiple formats and bundles directly from Polyvinyl Records ahead of its January 17 release. of Montreal is on tour starting in Athens, GA on February 27 at Georgia Theatre until April 12 in New Orleans, LA at The Howlin’ Wolf. The band’s complete tour schedule can be accessed here.
