girl in red Announces US Tour Dates & Releases New Video

Marie Ulven, aka the mind behind indie group girl in red has been going strong since popping off last year. The Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 EP’s both gave way to a sound that was part indie rock and part bedroom pop. While both bring together a sound that stands on it’s own, Ulven has dropped a new video that should stay with you as well. From “The Turning” soundtrack, girl in red stirs your emotions while reminding you of all her prowess. The group has also released details of their North American tour.

The song “kate’s not here” sparkles and pops. The way the vocals dance between the notes offers an extraordinary sound. Proving girl in red isn’t just a small project, the production here sounds grander than previous works. The video has a very stark look to it, working well with the music.
