New Post Animal Single & Video Have Cinematic Feel

Next Friday, Chicago six piece band POST ANIMAL will release their long awaited new album Forward Motion Godyssey. While we eagerly await its release, the band is gearing up for tour. They also just released a new single and video, and both have a cinematic quality in how the song sounds and how the video plays out.

The video directed by Pooneh Ghana has a nice feel to it like it’s shot from a Southern space. Showcasing the daily life of someone in an RV park, the pacing of the video and how it’s shot has a very cinematic feel to it. The song has the same qualities. With a big sound where the tones and the vocals sound like they’re at the top of the mix, the track flows with plenty of sounds that fill up your ears. The grand scale of the song makes for a more fuller sound from the band, and signal a wider audience for the band to grow into.

The video is ready to watch above or on YouTube. The song is ready to stream on all streaming sites. Forward Motion Godyssey can be preordered on multiple formats directly from Polyvinyl Records before its February 14 release. POST ANIMAL is on tour starting February 16 in Leeds, UK at 02 Academy Leeds until April 24 in Madison, WI at High Noon Saloon. The band’s tour routing is available here.
