King Tuff is an artist who goes beyond what many may think. One of the more diverse acts going, he’s just released his own version of a song he wrote for Ty Segall. While it was originally on one of Segall’s albums, this version is more tender and nature based, and shows how diverse the artist truly is.
The song, is airy and has the markings of that Beatles kind of sound. While the arrangements fall in that world, the song has psych and garage nuances. The track originally appeared on the Ty Segall album Freedom Goblin. However King Tuff has recorded his own version and it works on so many levels as his own track.
I’m Free is available to purchase digitally directly from Sub Pop Records. It’s also available to purchase from all digital outlets or to stream on all platforms. There are no tour dates for King Tuff at this time, though that could change.
