Giraffage has always been a producer who can reinvent his sound without calling too much attention to it. With his latest single “Basketball” however, he drops one of his most inventive songs in a minute, while giving us something to get down to in the process.
This time out, the producer reveals a song where most of the samples come from live basketball play. The latest in a string of singles that have a harsher tone, the song has plenty of snap without coming off as anything poppy. Don’t thing the track doesn’t hit though, because its techno graces and acid synths give way to a heightened sound that’s hard not to just groove to.
“Basketball” can be streamed on all streaming sites or purchased in all digital outlets. You can also pick up a basketball directly from his artist site or grab his newest full length Too Real from Counter Records.
