The Strokes Reveal New Song Before Album Drops This Friday

New York City will always be home to The Strokes. While the band is back after a good time away, their new single “Brooklyn Bridge To Chorus” shows a different side to their sound while prepping fans for their new album The New Abnormal out this coming Friday.

Adding keys and synths, the band mixes their familiar sound with a new touch. While the band has employed synths in the past, they’re at the front of the mix here. The song has a that classic tone the band has always employed with a catchy hook and keys as well. It’s an interesting tone without completely throwing their core tone out the window.

The song is ready to stream on all streaming sites. The New Abnormal can be preordered directly from Cult Records/RCA on multiple formats and in multiple bundles ahead of its April 10 release. The Strokes are scheduled to be on tour starting May 29 at The Forum in Los Angeles, CA until December 04 in Bogota, Columbia at Festival Esterio Picnic. The band’s complete tour dates can be accessed here. Due to COVID-19, these dates are subject to change.
