Six years ago when Screaming Females released their double live album, Live at The Hideout, the Steve Albini engineered release showcased the sheer power the trio brings to their shows. Now the band is ready for fans to see their energy with a multi-cam shot video from the show. Playing their 2012 song “It All Means Nothing,” the band eviscerates in a short time.
Aside from the great quality of the shoot, what you immediately grab from the footage is the intensity of the band in a live setting. The three piece has always had the energy of a band made up of more members while showcasing the strengths of a true power trio. Watching the up close footage where you can make out the wear of the fret board, the band’s performance just highlights the searing heat of the album.
The video can be streamed above or on YouTube. Live at The Hideout is available as a double vinyl directly from Don Giovanni Records. The album can also be purchased digitally or streamed on all platforms.
