Beach Fossils Announce Anniversary Reissue of Debut with Unreleased Song

Time can go by so fast that you can wake up and realize it’s bee a whole year. While you really only notice that as you age, some things age better with time. While Beach Fossils have gotten bigger since they began, their debut self-titled album has aged just as well. Now to celebrate its 10th Anniversary the band is reissuing the album. While the fact that Beach Fossils is coming back isn’t the biggest news, the fact that it will come with a seven inch containing an unreleased song is. The seven inch for “Vacation” will also include the track “Time” and most fans will agree it’s a good thing that it’s coming out.

While “Vacation” has been heard for quite some time, “Time” has a more snappy and relaxed vibe. The reverb soaked guitar with ghostly vocals offers a sound that feels like you’re chilling by the coast. The way the song passes between tones while the guitar ticks up with distortion stays with you while amplifying the band’s sound at the same time.

Both songs can be streamed on all streaming sites. Beach Fossils is ready for preorder directly from Bayonet Records before its Fall release. Beach Fossils is scheduled to begin touring on November 28 in San Diego, CA at SOMA until December 08 in Brooklyn, NY at Brooklyn Steel. Due to COVID-19, these dates may be postponed. Their complete tour schedule is available here.
