Pussy Riot Shares New Single Against Police Violence

Since their inception, Pussy Riot has made their own world by questioning authority and signalling a call against oppressors of the people. On their latest single “1312,” they team up with Argentine artists Parcas, Dillom and Muerejoven to protest police violence and sex-based hate crimes in Latin America.

Darker in tone than previously released singles from the group, the song has plenty of dark themes. The screamed vocals and the heavy riffs blend together with varying vocals from each contributor. The end result is a protest song that’s more “Fuck The Police” than it is “Kumbaya, My Lord.”

The animated video can be viewed above or on YouTube. The song is ready to stream or purchase in all digital outlets.
