It’s been three years since we received a new album by Washed Out, but that all changes soon. With a new album Purple Noon announced for an August release, the producer has shared a new video for is latest single “Time to Walk Away.” In the first couple of seconds it’s clear to notice that the producer is back and in a big way.

The song definitely is a bop. With a beat that immediately draws your attention, the vocals come in like a haunting memory. The way he intertwines the music with the vocals while still adding to the mix is extraordinary. With graces that take his sound to a higher plane, the track delivers on so many years without more than some singles from the producer. The video features the day in the life of two lovers and all that comes with time together and time apart.
