Yesterday was the fiftieth birthday for Beck. To help celebrate he received a remix of one of is songs by Texas trio Khruangbin. While the song “No Distraction” comes off of his latest full length Hyperspace, the remix of the song delivers a whole new way to experience the music as only Khruangbin could deliver.

What makes the remix so special is how trippy and psych heavy that the three piece makes the song. Aside from the echoed vocals is just the grooves that the band lays down. They essentially reinvent the song like it’s their own, while enough remains to hear Beck’s original version. The drums pop, the bass digs in and the guitar just washes in tone while you can still hear what Beck laid down originally. It’s a trip that you’ll definitely enjoy partaking in.
