Ever since the new group Muzz became a reality, the trio has not only warmed the hearts of every listener, but they’ve offered up more than enough content to fuel the project. Now that their debut Muzz is out into the world, the band has shared an acoustic version of the song “Everything Like It Used To Be.” Just like the accompanying video featuring the trio performing, the song is another glimpse into a band itching to get out in front of some crowds.
The acoustic version differs in ways that you can immediately notice. The instruments feel more pronounced here as do the vocals of Paul Banks. Here he sounds closer to what fans are used to while the drums and the acoustic guitar lay the essential groundwork. The employed synths and the instruments form a hearty sound that doesn’t beat you over the head, but rather nestles into your ears with a quaint selection of touches.
The video can be seen above or on YouTube. The band’s self-titled debut can be purchased physically directly from Matador Records. The album is also available to stream wherever you stream music or it can be purchased in all digital outlets.
