Last month when super group MUZZ unveiled their debut album, the world was greeted with their mix of indie rock and Americana tones. While the album stands on its own and the band has been releasing live videos to push it along, their video for the song “Summer Love” feels appropriate in these “drive in” times.
With a screen out in a field, that aspect alone is what concerts have become lately. The song has such tender accompaniment that the shots of people in their lives as the world rolls by fits with the song. However the delicate arrangements aren’t represented in the clip, the uncertainty and chaos of everything and nothing on a screen somewhere work when we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
You can watch the video above or on YouTube. The album is ready to stream on all streaming sites or to purchase in all digital outlets. It’s also available physically directly from Matador Records.
