For a minute now we’ve been enraptured with the sounds of Austin’s Sun June. Well before they toured with bigger name acts, we found their self-described sound as regret pop to be that of stunning tones and inventive songwriting. Now signed to Run For Cover Records, the Texas group has released a new song “Singing” that displays their intriguing style to the world.
The song has ll of the well crafted notes that has made the group popular wherever they appear. With better production, the vocals open the song up alongside a lone guitar to help open each note like a blooming flower. Structured with pop underpinnings, the elegant riffs and delicate notes that the band delivers are only heightened by the heavenly vocals. The up and down of the song holds your attention while you feel like it’s bathing you in all that makes music worthy of listening to. The video shot of varying clips between each member and snippets of life in these times pairs perfectly with the way the song is presented.
The video for “Singing” can be viewed above or on YouTube. The song can be streamed on all streaming sites or purchased in all digital outlets via Run For Cover Records.
