For a minute now we’ve touted the music of Rituals of Mine. With a new album HYPE NOSTALGIA due this Friday, we’re inching closer in hearing what the album will ultimately be. By mixing hip hop, R&B and electronica, the project takes leaps forward with each single we’ve heard. On their latest track “Trauma” they go deep and they go hard while offering an intense sound you’re immediately drawn towards.

The song is a heavy electronica track that’s bathed in intensity. Opening with haunting vocals, things began to pop off when the beat and the driving synth pulse into your ears. The backing vocals make for a nice touch before the rhymes begin. The flow of the track has a nice pop while it gets hearty when it has to as it drives that pulsating tone through your speakers and deep into your conscience.
