FUZZ, the metal injected rock trio formed by Ty Segall is back with a new album. While III isn’t out until late October, what it will be is perhaps a bit away from its metal predecessor. On their new song “Spit” the three piece offers a more hard rock sound, while the accompanying stop motion animation video is as trippy as anything Segall has released.
The driven rock tones are complete wit squeals and energy. The vocals and the constant fret board runs deliver a solid sound without losing your attention. The video looks a lot like a good acid trip mixed with colorful and comical imagery. The animation tells an intriguing tale with characters who only exist here, or perhaps in your world as well.
You can watch the video above or on YouTube. III is available to preorder from In The Red Records on multiple formats before its October 23 release. FUZZ will be on tour starting December 03 at Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, CA until March 31 in Camden, UK at Electric Ballroom. Their tour dates can be accessed here.
