The Postal Service Creates PSA For HeadCount

In 2020, we’ve been dealt plenty of blows. Aside from going into the fact that our current president is a crying child who refuses to do anything for anyone else but himself, it is an election year. That means whether you love or hate the current administration, you can have a voice in how our country moves forward by voting. For that, The Postal Service has teamed up with Head Count to release a PSA about voter registration.

The video features the band auditioning new members. It’s a star studded affair between known artists appearing as other people to known artists appearing as themselves. It’s definitely funny for a serious situation.

You can watch it above or on YouTube. You can check to see if you’re registered to vote or you can register to vote at Headcount.org. You can purchase the music of The Postal Service from Sub Pop Records.

David Garrick has spent the last five years interviewing some of the most intriguing and engaging artists performing today. Everyone from Angel Olsen to Phoebe Bridgers, Wire to Yo La Tengo, Snail Mail to Soccer Mommy, Ghost to First Aid Kit, The Breeders to Protomartyr, and many more. He's a giant fan of music of pretty much any genre; but especially to the underdogs. He's been known to see more concerts in a week than many people will see in a year.
