Bad Religion Returns to Their Roots on New Single

For their entire time of existence, Bad Religion hasn’t followed rules. In keeping up with their recent tradition of releasing outtakes from their latest full length Age of Unreason the band has released a new song “What Are We Standing For.” While an outtake the song is fresh and reminds you of the band’s early years when they mixed punk rock tone with upbeat pacing.

The song is quickly paced with the drums high in the mix. While the vocals are right up there, the overall tone reminds you of the band’s sound from their earlier years. The song is however constructed better than they did back in the day, yet the link to the past is easy to notice. Even the vocals have those high points as well.

The song can be heard above or on all streaming sites. It can also be purchased in all digital outlets. Age Of Unreason is ready to purchase from Epitaph Records. Bad Religion is set to resume touring on May 16 in Lisbon, Portugal at Altice Arena-Sala Tejo until June 20 in Neuhausen Ob Eck, Germany at Southside Festival 2021. Their complete tour schedule is available here
