New Zealand four piece The Beths have always captured our hearts with their blend of indie rock and pop based melodies. Their latest album Jump Rope Gazers can easily be considered one of the best albums of the year. Now ahead of announcing an upcoming livestream performance, they’ve also revealed a new video for the song “Mars, The God Of War” that you’re sure to enjoy.
The song features the band’s signature dual guitar indie rock complete with hooks for days. The video shows each band member as an operative in a secret project. Meeting and planning, scheming and running about, the costuming alone will give you a good laugh. Will all of the planning make sure that the plot is foiled or not? Watch the video and enjoy the music to find out.
The video is ready to enjoy above or on YouTube. Jump Rope Gazers can be purchased directly from Carpark Records or in all digital music stores. It can also be streamed on all streaming sites. The Beths will be performing a livestream on Bandcamp from Auckland Town Hall on November 14 at 5 p.m. EST. Tickets can be purchased here.
