Shame Drops New Song with Live Performance Video

South London’s Shame have recently returned from the cold. After popping up last month with a new single “Alphabet,” the group proved they were ready to take their post punk sound deeper and harder. Now they’re revealing another new single “BiL” that expands their sound even further. To mark the occasion, they’ve released live footage from an upcoming live film shot at Electric Brixton.

The multi-camera footage gives off the energy that the group has become known for. The song exhibits a sound that feels a bit frenzied, yet still kept in place. With plenty of guitar stabs and percussive elements the vocals come in harsh and never drop off. The squeals and rhythmic notes from the guitars slow down a bit though and evolve into a more droning quality. Making way for a more focused direction, things begin to tick back up to welcome the frenzy all over again.

The video is ready to watch above. The song is ready to stream wherever you stream music or to purchase digitally via Dead Oceans wherever you download it. Shame merchandise including new shirts can be purchased here
