On Saturday Foo Fighters stopped by Saturday Night Live to perform two songs. While one of the songs was a rousing version of “Times Like These,” the other was a brand new song “Shame Shame.” Taken from the just announced album Medicine At Midnight, it’s a vastly different sound from the long running rock band.
With a more produced sound, the track dances around a bit. With varying instruments, Dave Grohl uses his falsetto to get things going. The track is a far cry from the straight ahead rock tone that the group has utilized in the past. Varied in its presentation, there’s a more grandiose feel to the track that can win you over after a few plays.
“Shame Shame” can be heard above or wherever you stream music. Medicine At Midnight is ready for preorder directly from RCA Records ahead of its February 05 release. Foo Fighters will return to touring June 08 at Waldbuhne in Berlin, DE until June 19 through 27 at Rock in Rio Lisboa in Lisbon, PT. Their tour dates are accessible here.
