Since his start releasing music, Cambridge’s Cavetown has never slowed down his output. Even after inking with Sire Records, he’s continuously delivered new music on a steady basis. With his new single “Let Me Feel Low” that continues with an introspective sound and an exploratory new video.
The opening notes of the acoustic guitar offer an open tone before the soft vocals roll in. The song has a tender disposition without being sappy. There’s an honesty that exists throughout the singer songwriter’s sound here, however it feels new and fresh. The video featuring views of the world in Fall as checkerboard Vans waltz through sidewalks matches with the sounds of the song as well.
The video can be viewed above. The song is ready to stream on all platforms or to purchase in all digital outlets. His latest full length Sleepyhead can be purchased in various formats and bundles via Sire Records. Cavetown is scheduled to appear at FM4 Frequency on August 20-21 in Sainkt Aegidi, Austria and at Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA on September 26.
