Deftones aren’t slowing down. After releasing their latest album OHMS they’re already back for the anniversary of their album White Pony. With White Pony x Black Stallion, the reissue will feature remixes from Robert Smith of The Cure, Squarepusher, DJ Shadow and more. Their new single “Passenger” will be there as well with this remix by Mike Shinoda.

The remix disassociates the original with the heartiness tuned down. There’s a more mysterious tone here as the vocals still have their harsh ring and the track hits like you expect. The varying synths and tones that fall around the original here make the song more ghostly. The accompanying video sums up the sounds you hear perfectly.

The video is ready to watch above. The song can be heard on all streaming services. White Pony x Black Stallion can be preordered directly from Warner Records before its December 11 release. Deftones will be on tour starting May 21 in Porto, Portugal at North Music Festival until September 22 in Portland, OR at Theatre of the Clouds at MODA Center.
